Delivery & Pickup Info

****Deliveries within Toronto and parts of the GTA range from $23.00 and up. The delivery fee will be assessed when placing your order. Deliveries outside the normal delivery areas may be made for an additional fee. We have adjusted our delivery prices to reflect the dramatic surge in gas prices over the past few months. Remember you always have an option to pick up your order from our Thornhill location at no additional cost. ***

The delivery fees are subject to 13% HST.

You will be assigned a delivery window based on the ideal delivery time you select.

  • $23 - north of Lawrence ave, North york, Markham, THORNHILL, Richmond hill, Vaughan

  • $27 - MIDTOWN TORONTO (LAWRENCE AVE. TO BLOOR ST.), EAST YORK

  • $50 - AURORA, NEWMARKET, STOUFVILLE

  • $60 – Downtown Core (SOUTH OF BLOOR ST.), Mississauga, Scarborough, etobicoke

  • $75 – KleinbUrg, Oakville, BRAMPTON, Pickering, Whitby

The sender assumes responsibility to make alternate arrangements or pay additional fees (at Pretty Sweet’s discretion) due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, if the building/house/business is not able to be accessed by our delivery person, or if the recipient refuses to accept the delivery. They also accept that delivery may be pushed back to a new delivery time window and/or date.

Deliveries that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges.

Pretty Sweet’s delivery process is to leave it as close to the front door as possible and ring the doorbell and/or knock. We do not wait for someone to answer, and take no responsibility once the delivery is left by the door. You are encouraged to be home during your selected time window, or notify the recipient to be home during that time window if it is a gift. Pretty Sweet is not responsible for any damage to the delivery that could occur to item(s) when left by the door due to inclement weather, theft, etc.

Charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered. If nobody is there to receive the delivery, it may be left out front of the house or with the concierge of the building. We advise you to notify the recipient and/or the building concierge (where applicable) to ensure they are able to receive the delivery. Please provide any additional information that would be useful when delivering to a building (ex. buzzer number, unit number, etc.)

In the event of extreme weather conditions, unexpected traffic delays, etc., there is a possibility that deliveries could experience delays to ensure the safety of our delivery team. Customers will be notified if it appears there will be a delay beyond the selected time window.

Please note that once your order has been placed, your pick up/delivery time slot is final and we cannot accommodate any changes. If you are unable to pick up during your appointed time, please send a representative on your behalf. While we do our best to accommodate those who come outside their pick up window, we cannot guarantee you will be able to pick up at a time outside your selected pick up window, so you are highly encouraged to come during the time you selected.

Order Policy

Please note, we work under tight timelines and always have many orders on the go. As a result, we require your cooperation with our policies, timelines, and process in order to complete your orders in a timely manner and to the high level we set for ourselves. This also means we don’t have time for excessive back-and-forth discussions over email or attempts to question our policies. Failure to comply with our policies and terms may result in the cancellation and refunding of your order. At the end of the day, remember these are baked goods and are meant to be a fun and happy thing!

If you note on your order form that you will be emailing inspiration photos, your order will not be considered complete until we have received them. Photos should be sent as soon as possible after the order is placed. If we don’t receive them in a timely manner we may not be able to include them on your order.

For larger or special orders, please email us for inquiries and outline the details of what you are interested in. Please contact us at least 14 days prior to any large custom orders, including corporate or events, gifts, custom favours etc.

No changes to your order such as flavours or finishing details will be accepted once full payment is received. Design requests that are included in an accompanying email that are not mentioned on the order form itself will not be acknowledged.

You can select your desired pick up/delivery date and morning or afternoon window for pick up/delivery during the checkout process.

We highly recommend that you select a time when someone will be available to accept your package.

Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we cannot accommodate last-minute requests to change your delivery to a pick-up, or vice versa. Same day requests to switch your time window for pick-up or delivery cannot be accommodated due to scheduling conflicts.

Pretty Sweet reserves the right to cancel or not accept orders for any reason at our sole discretion.

Online Shop Details

Due to the custom, made to order nature of each order, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for cancellations. All orders are non-refundable once placed. However, cancellation requests made with more than 72 hours notice may be possible at Pretty Sweet’s discretion and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Please note we have our own unique style and will not copy another bakery/artist’s work exactly, but rather just use it for inspiration.

Colours may vary from digital images provided or shown as our products are made by hand.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature + customization of our products, Pretty Sweet does not accept returns or exchanges.


Large Quantities, Special Orders

When ordering quantities greater than 100 cookies or any Sweet Table + Favours, Event, Corporate, or Gift items, please place your order at least 14 days prior to your desired pick up/delivery date. Orders not placed within 14 days of desired pick up/delivery date may be subject to rush fees.
